Our investment banking associate program allows M.B.A. graduates and other experienced professionals to build a long-term career as a trusted advisor to our clients in executing mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising activities. Small deal teams and our focus on high-growth companies give associates the unique opportunity to work directly with top-level client executives and senior bankers. Our investment banking associate program provides M.B.A. graduates and other experienced professionals the platform to build a long-term career as a trusted advisor to our clients. Associates work on a variety of transactions, including M&A advisory assignments, public equity offerings, private equity placements, and strategic alternatives reviews.

Small deal teams and our focus on middle-market, high-growth companies afford associates the unique opportunity to work directly with senior-level client executives and top-level bankers. Associates assume a critical role in the entire transaction process, including the initial pitch, due diligence, preparation of written prospectuses or memorandums, meetings with potential investors/buyers, negotiation of key terms, and maintenance of client communication and relationships.

Associates typically begin as generalists and, after one to three years, move into an industry group. The opportunity to work closely with team members in our offices around the world gives our associates a global perspective. Top-performing associates advance to the vice president level, with the longer-term potential to become a partner of the firm.

All slots for the 2012 Full Time Associate Program have been filled.

We offer a 10-week summer associate program for high-performing M.B.A. and graduate-school students who are typically going into their final year of study. Summer associates are given high-level responsibilities and entrusted to work directly with clients and senior bankers. Strong-performing summer associates are offered full-time positions commencing the following summer.
