Jim is the Head of Consultant Relations and Institutional Business Development at William Blair & Company. He joined the firm in 2010 with 24 years of experience in the institutional asset management industry. Prior to joining William Blair & Company, Jim was the U.S. head of consultant relationship management at UBS Global Asset Management, where he was responsible for servicing consulting organizations concentrating on global asset allocation, global equities, global bonds, alternative assets and specific asset class mandates. He is also the head of the Southern Methodist University Fundraising Campaign for the Chicago area, a member of the SMU Parent Leadership Committee and was a board member of the American Youth Soccer Organization for fifteen years. Education: B.F.A. Advertising/Public Relations in Journalism, B.A. Political Science, Southern Methodist University; M.B.A. Concentration in Finance, Marketing and Organizational Behavior, Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
