Michael Jancosek joined William Blair & Company in 1999 to focus on external distribution of the William Blair Funds. Currently, Mike is the national sales director for William Blair’s Intermediary Distribution Group. In this role, Mike is responsible for all of the sales and marketing functions related to the distribution of William Blair’s investment products to advisors and third-party platforms in the intermediary channel. He has 25 years of industry experience selling and distributing investments and insurance products to individuals and investment advisors. Before joining William Blair, Mike was a vice president at First Chicago Bank and Aon Corporation where he was responsible for the development of their mutual fund and insurance product sales platforms. Mike started his career as an investment officer with Robert W. Baird and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. Mike is actively involved with several industry organizations, including the Financial Planning Association, Mutual Fund Education Alliance, Investment Company Institute, and Money Management Institute. He also serves as the board chair for America SCORES Chicago and is a director on the Munster High School Booster Club. Education: B.S. in political science and M.B.A. from Indiana University.
